I am needing to replace the cable positive side of the battery for a restored 1941 Farmall BN. Do you where I can get one and does this cable go to the started or ground on this tractor? thx

I made my own from welding cable I got at Tractor Supply and put ends on it. As far as the positive connection depends on if 6 volt origional or converted to 12 volt with alternator.

(quoted from post at 16:54:19 06/26/13) . . . does this cable go to the started or ground on this tractor?
If the question is where to attach the end of the ground cable, it originally was under one of the bolts that holds the top cover on the transmission. It was the left one of the two along the front edge.

It goes to a bolt on top of the tranny just make sure its clean and shinny get a 1ga or a braided one as it it the ground for the system.
