one point fast hitch mower

at one time, Bush hog, woods and maybe another or two sold them. not sure if anyone does now or not.

Woods may still be able to build you one special-order, but I don't think you'd like the price.

The last fast hitch tractor rolled off the line at least 34 years ago, and then only a few were made. Not a lot of demand for mowers so the chances of anyone still making them are slim to none.

I took a 3 point hitch mower, and mounted a single point spear on it, works good. With one exception, using a pto on a fast hitch is somewhat limited as the lower cross bar on the tractor fast hitch limits how high you can lift the implement before the pto shaft contacts the bar on the hitch. This is on a 100.

Am I correct in assuming you want to put this mower behind a cub? As far as I know, the only IH that used one point was the cub. I'm sure someone on this forum will correct me if I'm wrong. I own a cub with the one point and I only have three implements for it. I would like to find a rear mounted mower to use with it.

Bob, I have a Mohawk for my 140. It seems to have the one point made/modified to fit the mower. I have seen-and I thought I had it-a picture of a new 3pt mower that was made into a one point hitch version and it was easy. The person had take the 3 pt frame and laid it down on the mower so the 3rd link attachment area was out in front of the mower, where the one point was bolted to. The rest of the frame was bolted to the mower where the two lower points attach to the mower. I am not sure if that makes sense but I will search for the picture but somebody may have it out there too. Kirk
