Bought this little turntable at Lowes. Do it all standing in one spot. No need to reposition yourself or the part while doing the process. Just twirl it round and round.

The paint is called sunrise red, and I'd say it's pretty close to IH red. 25% extra bonus paint for $3.77 at walmart. Puts out a nice gloss.


 
Great idea. I use an old office chair with the back taken off. This allows variable height and easy turning as well. Jim
 
Yep, Rustoleum Sunrise Red from Wal Mart! I've done almost my whole 450 in the stuff, and people always compliment me on how good it looks! Now if I can just get Rustoleum to make a good imitation of a certain shade of green...
