I have a 1953 Farmall super A. As I was looking at the engine block I noticed the oil pressure gauge was on the side, rather than by the oil filter. Also the engine did not have two petcocks on the side of the oil pan it has a dip stick, and has a starter notch like the Farmall C. Looking more the serial number on the engine block is 1MAM G which does not match the serial number on the plate on the seat bracket. Has anybody seen a serial number like that on a Farmall engine block?
