Red power roundup kind of a disappointment.
But who thought of the directions from Fort Wayne to I75, when 309 would have saved lots of miles and time!!! Will use my own map next time!!

i'm with you Howard, the only thing that i am dissapointed about is that there is not three of me to have one at the parts trailer, one at the dyno and one of me at the tractors.

Don't remember them saying it was shorter, just easier than going thru Lima. Most likely just as quick, only about ten miles farther.

You must not have had a trailer on when you went through Lima on 309. You can also drop down 65 from 30 but there's a no-truck route on the way. I've used it, but you don't want to get caught on it, especially loaded. Brought you out to 75 on rt 81. We could go straight and use Roush Rd to get to P&G but couldn't come out that way due to a 20 ton bridge.

Sometimes an extra 20 miles is worth it. When I ran wally's-mart groceries out of Auburn (20 miles north of Ft Wayne) I would leave for Kalamazoo and points north, go an extra 23 miles using the interstate, and be leaving by the time the guy who left in the next truck ahead of me got there using the highways.

I have only been fortunate enough to go to one Roundup: in Pa a few years ago. I live within a couple of hours of Canandaguia, NY so I get to see an Expo every two years, and since I live on the NY/Pa border I have oppurtunity to attend lots of nice shows. I love every tractor we own; red, green, orange, yellow, grey...and pretty much every old tractor I see and don't own, so this is not a brand bias; but if I added together EVERY show I have ever been to including the JD Expos, they would not all add up to the Roundup I was at! No matter what route I took to get there!
