hello I have a farmall m I have been having trouble with I can move the throttle to half throttle and the engine will not pick up but once I move it another 5 degrees the motor will jump from 325rpm to nearly 1750rpm I was wondering what adjustment I should make to the governor to try to even out the throttle so it is more responsive on the first half of the throttle and less responsive on the last half off the throttle thank you and I have a video on utube with the title "Nick Roepkes Farmall needs help 3006"

I dont think its 'out of adjustment'.Take it apart and check for worn wts,bushings/holes(slots),broken spring.....Also make the 100years of grease build-up is not causing things to bind .

Evertyhing Delta's saying is true.

I'd also check:

1. Governor throttle shaft (shaft inside tube between carb. and top of governor housing) may not be engaged properly with throttle shaft in carburetor.

2. See if the brass (or plastic) piece on the end of the carburetor throttle shaft isn't spinning on the shaft.

3. Throttle shaft lever (arm at end of governor throttle shaft) may have broken the pin through it that holds it in place on the governor throttle shaft. This can cause tractor to idle fine and run wide open when moving the throttle lever to a point that causes some movement of that arm.

If you're gonna keep yankin' that throttle lever back and forth, pull it downward so it doesn't drag on the notches. You'll have it wore out before you know it.
