howdy fellers, I have been offline for a spell but am lurking around a bit now. just before THanksgiving of 2010 I had an anurysum burst in my brain causing a stroke. I suffered a good bit of brain damage from it but did survive.anywho just thought I would say howdy. watch your blood pressure. it nearly got me.

Good to hear you're doing better.

A friend of my wife had something similar happen to her out of the blue a few years ago when she was in her mid-30's. She's doing well now, but it was scary when it happened.

Take care.

Glad you're still around! I was looking for you a while back when I had some trouble with the old 2400 baler, but I got it figured out.

Welcome back!

I haven't seen you on here since we talked about a Standard Twin tractor. A stroke is what killed my brother. He had diabetes and wouldn't watch his blood pressure. He was only 66. His fifth wife kept him on Life Support for 3 months. Hal

Howdy right back at ya! A few months ago I was tinkin' about folks who posted regularly when I first found this board. You were one of those and I'm so glad you are back. Are you gonna be puttin' up stuff from a garden this year? Take care.

jIM, I could sure use a brain transplant. everything is in good working order except the brain. got a short circuit now hehehe. brain damaged but alive and still messing around with a bunch of old red tractors.

best regards George.

The problem with brain transplants is if you get one that hasn't been used much, it maybe isn't worth it anyway.

Nice to see you back and glad you have come this far from the stroke. Are you still playing around restoring the IH No. 11 hay rake? Still working on mine but not near enough as my cousin is helping and we just can't seem to get together that much. Take care and will look forward to seeing you again on here, Hal.

hi Hal, need a donar rake to restore my no 11. just using it like it is for now.maybe one day I will find another one. now I have dragged a rusty old 1PR corn picker home. found it near Butcher holler,KY(Loretta Lynns home.

I am glad to see you are still around. This place ain't the same without that grumpy old Canadian though. RIP Hugh McKay.

no pics yet but I picked up another project. got a nice 65 model Farmall 504 in very good original condition. still wearing factory paint and it is good. using it on the Allis Chalmers 443 square baler now. seems like a very good tractor to me and just my size.
