straying away from the usual topic

Normally I like to mess around with tractors...however the wife recently brought home an early 70"s Cushman golf cart. We thought it would be fun to mess with and may even be useful for us. I have found it hard to get wiring info on this thing. I have replaced the batterys but do not know where the negative cable attached to. If I go straight to batt. I have no throttle control. I have no clue and thought maybe someone here may.

Haven't got the foggiest idea, but you might go out to the golf course and try to find an old timer..

Those are very "collectible" items and at the Florida Flywheelers they even have their own building and exhibit etc. If you Google Cushman Golf Cart Collectors or someting similar I'm sure you will find entire Discussion Forums and Web Pages loaded with info and wiring diagrams etc out the ying yang.

Mother in law used to have one. You'll need a wiring diagram - it's not simple to fix one up if you need relays and things like that replaced.
