Some might think it is cute and some will think it bothersome. There is something about the front bolster of a Farmall that attracts Carolina Wrens. I hope they know I have to switch out the planters and do some cultivating in a few days!

Ok here is the photo.

Saw a burned up tractor at the JD dealer a few years back, from a birds nest built in the wrong spot. Not too cute when tractor catches on fire

Neighbor's New Holland cab tractor nearly burned up last year because of a birds nest. A fire extinguisher saved the day, but he still had an expensive repair bill. Wiring and hydraulic hose damage. A couple more minutes and the hydraulic fluid would have been afire and the tractor would have been history.

Have had a lot of bird nest built on top of H and M manifolds when sitting outside. Luckily all were extinguished without major damage. Finally was just routine maintenance to check if left sitting for a couple day's.

I'd rather have a bird nest in something... it can be cleaned out. I had some kind of pack rat build a nest under the hood of my '95 F-150 that I use mainly for trash and brush hauling. The nest itself wasn't that bad, but some of it was built with wiring from the pickup. Cost me over $500 to get it re-wired. Part of the damage was from my 2 Beagles trying to get at the rat.
