560 Brakes

Trying to put my brakes back together on the 560. Where does the brake positioning spring connect to? One end goes to the housing via the little rivet, how or where does the other end connect to the brake actuator?

Connects to eye in the cotter pin of headed pin in linkage. That was one of IH's add on ideas when brake problems started showing up. Supposed to help keep linings from glazing. I felt it was just a pain that didn't prove much.

Bill nothing to do with glazing. It is supose to keep the brake up againest the stop so brake will not start to brake then jam againest the stop and lock.

Funny thing, service bulletin says to reduce glazing.
