560 steering

560 PS turns fine to right,but not all the way left and labors the hyd pump if you try to force it left.

I have only worked on that area once but it sounds like the mechanism down in the front bolster is not sensing right. A good repair manual is needed to work on this . It also could be binding or something broken, have you tried getting the front off the ground to see if it gets better?It could tell you what direction the problem is. I know that is probably not more than you already know but the sensing part is touchy to work on.
