Block for early 1950 Super A

I am in need of a good used block for a tractor I am restoring. I would prefer an early 1950 date code block as the tractor I am restoring is a demonstrator and want to go back all original and correct with it.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

It has signs of a previous freeze crack behind the generator and carb. It was welded and just looks horrible. The block is still bulged out roughly 1/8" and I have a feeling that this will be an ongoing issue. I want to do this tractor right during the restoration.

If its not cracked between the cycls that crack isnt that bad. You can grind the ugly weld down then with the rubber cement they use installing windsheilds put a good layer over the crack and before it sets up hard take a rough brush and with a little time cna make the fibish look just like cast. Ive got one i bought like that been running sor 10 yrs now cant even tell the repair have to look real hard to see the repair. But i would pull the head so be sure it isnt broke between the cycls. It has been on many three day tractor rides and parades.

The engine is sleeved so the welding issues are cosmetic only. Gene had it correct that you can fix the cosmetic issues and the block would be good for another generation of farming.
