I have a hyd leak it is coming from the front of the reservoir where the two pistons are for the controls.(see attached photo)it looks like I have to take the reservoir off to fix.I know there is a O ring in there that is leaking,My question is how hard is this to fix or am I getting in over my head.
if it is something I can fix could someone give me instructions on how to fix. Thanks

I spent 28 cents fixing my 1948 c farmall with a piston o ring leaking plus my time of taking it off and taking it apart and of course putting it back on. Really not a hard fix just aggravation of off and on and taking it apart. By the way, this one doesn"t leak. I think the old O ring just tore up,from the best I could tell.

Go back and look in the archives under Super C touch control overhaul. I just did mine back in February. I posted pictures as I did it, so you can see what has to be done on one. You will need a parts drawing of it to see the parts. I think it is o-ring #34 that you have leaking. It does not show the 2 spools in the drawings with the exception of the very end of one of them. I debated if you can just pull the spool out and change the o-ring or not. I elected to remove the whole unit from the tractor and replace all the seals. Also repainted it while it was out. A word of caution, with the arms removed off the front, the unit still weights over a 100 lbs.
