Ref to hydraulic system remote control valve the one that is attached to the lift all.I am taking it apart because spool was rusted stuck,i have since gotten it out and the spring.Unable to remove possibly a bushing. The threaded pin is also loose and sliding up and down.Does this bushing move up and down when spool is moved? If so how would i go about it removing the bushing.Your thoughts would be helpful. Frank

Assuming you are refering to the two way valve that is connected to the right side Liftall port and is called a christmas tree valve, there is no sleeve in it according to the parts book. If it is sleeved, it is cast into the valve body. There is a fork and groove in the valve no bolt.

The system internal to the Liftall also has no bolt or sleeve in it.

If the valve is not one of those, we would need pictures to help, there are thousands of valves. Most do not have sleeves in them. Jim

Jim the question is about the spool centering spring parts located in the valve spool.
Parts lookup site under farmall M hydraulic, number 289.
Pin # 2 is held stationary to cover 10 by nuts under and over the cap. Top nut not shown in the picture. sleeve 3 slides over pin 2 with big end down, spring 4, washer 5. these parts retained in the spool by lock or retainer 7. When spool is pushed down in the valve by the operating lever the sleeve 3 stays in position on shaft 2 but the spool slides over the sleeve. When spool is moved up the shoulder of the sleeve contacts the spool then the sleeve slides up on the rod 2.
If all parts are not rusty or damaged they should all easily slide out of the spool and move freely when retainer 7 is removed from the spool.
Hope I got that correct and understandable so double check me.
