Doubling up rear weights on a Super A

Is it possible to double up the rear weights on a Super A? Couldn't a weight go on the inside and outside of a wheel? Or could 2 go on the outside?

Why not put one on the inside? My B with the loader and is used for snow also has them on the inside to keep width down. They have been there for many yrs i just used threaded rod.

That's what I wanted to know Gene, if it could be done. Never seen a Super A or a 140 do it before. I really want an extra weight on the light side. I'm going to do it.

I run two sets of weights on my Super A in the winter, works
great with the added weight. I tried to put a set on the inside,
but my wheels were set too narrow. So I just put them on the
outside.

You can also go to the cast center as it weighs just about the same. Dont know if added wt can be added to the inside cast center i have never tried that but the added wt sure fits on the inside of the steel center. I just didnt want the added width with two wts on the outside.

I don't think a weight will fit on the inside with the wheel center dished in. It's pretty tight in there.

Did you try and put it on the cast center as the wheel spacing has nothing to do with the clearence between the center and the final. The cast center is thicker so i could see that mite be a problem but a wt will fit inside a steel center as ive done that.

Yes you can! I have a weight on the inside and 2 on the outside. They are on a 46 B with 11.2 tires. They fit fine .

But the B has pressed steel centers.

The A/Super A/100/130/140 has a special heavy cast center on the right side to balance the tractor.

Yeah, you are right. It wasn"t because of the wheel spacing but the heavy cast center. I only did the one side since it didnt work. If I rememeber right, it fit on there but wouldn"t turn.
