You will probably need to lie under the l/hand side of the tractor under the gear change and use a bar to lever the external selectors back to the neutral position. Make sure the engine is off !! And the handbrake is on. If the weight of the tractor is on the transmissio it will be harder to do !! They usually do this due to bent or worn linkages

Thank you so much. After about an hour lying under the tractor trying to figure out how to lever it back into position. I did it! Next time and there will be a next time because it is so worn out, it will be a 5 minute job! Thank you again
