Can anyone out there cross reference IH bearing 388168R91 to a regular # ?

This is the pinion pilot bearing at the front of the transmission on a F656D

Try a bearing supply house. Did you get that number off the bearing or out of the parts book? I'm a little surprised that number isn't a ST- prefix, if it is a genuine I.H. Possibly a West Pullman ?

According to IH book 17-BL dated 10/76, 388168R91 crosses to Bower MU 5306-L.
