farmall 230 wide front

does anyone know if the farmall 230 came factory or an option for wide front or are they all aftermarket?

Same wide front as a Super C.

I have never seen an aftermarket wide front on a C/Super C/200/230. Is there such a thing?

They came from factory with one, my brother still has his on he also has the narrow that we used to put on for cultivating, my dad bought it new in I think 57. Norden made one that fit from the 504 down to a c with the correct bolt pattern and was decent I had one on the farmall 240 that my dad bought in 59. I am not sure about swartz but I believe they also had them but they are rare.

wide fronts and narrow. the wide front on a 230 is not exactly the same as a super c...the super c is six inches longer,the tube is longer.the 230 fronts are nicer...

If you check the parts book,you"ll see two tread width options were offered by IH on these tractors.
