Has anyone removed a flywheel from a F20 engine while the engine is mounted on the tractor? What tools are required? Have worked on clutches but never removed a flywheel. Have some broken bolts to remove that hold the clutch to the flywheel.

You will need a special tool to pull the flywheel. Unless you have the tools to pull and install the flywheel, I would first try to remove the bolts without pulling the flywheel. Pulling and installing the flywheel without the right tools is a pain, trust me, I have tried....

First of all, if you can't grip the broken bolt with a visegrip, try welding a nut to it. The heat from welding will help loosen the rust bond and then you can get a wrench on it. Heat the flywheel around the bolt with a torch, don't worry, the heat will not hurt the flywheel. Let it cool down some and then squirt some oil on the bolt, the heat will draw the oil into the threads.
