What is the best arrangement for adding a 3-pt to a super A. I see there are kits. Has anyone done it by building one? Any details?

Thanks,

Colin

I used links and arms from a B-275, built my own toplink bracket, and shortened a cheap TSC cat I toplink. The lower links anchored on pins I put in the drawbar mounting holes. It worked pretty good, had more lifting power than i expected.

yes i have it is simple i got the 3pt hitch parts from tractor supple, i looked at diagrames of the kits, call me if you like 502-550-7828

Well, I won't savage MY B-275 for my friend's A.

I've inquired to find lower lifitng arms and they can be had for $50 each at a local tractor dealer. I'll try TSC, but there are kits that may just be cheaper to buy.....needs more research and luck.

Thanks,
C

i found the photos i posted, go to tractor photos and do a search for pheel there are 2 photos. i did another one and improved on the design.

My friend is planning on pulling a transplanter. No
spring assembly.

I found tractorparts.com has the ball ends and other
parts at a reasonable price, so I think I've found
the basics and can weld/assemble the rest.

(quoted from post at 13:19:12 04/11/13) I used Hugh M's design. East to build and works fine on my SA.
I put a "3 point" on my 140. I just bolted the lower arms straight to the final drived. Welded a bracket for the center link on the rock shaft. I have to make some tweaks here and there. But it lifts up the 3 point single bottom plow.

This is a Super A-V, so it will really fly. It
hasn;t been an obvious problem with other duties, so
Farmer Brown may not notice, or at least he'll be
able to adapt. We're pretty brisk up here in Maine,
have to be with the cold and then black flies.
