I would like to re-phrase my question years ago I rebuilt my M motor and installed IH thin wall sleeves and pistons and had the same bore as a Super M. Did they make thin wall sleeves for a W9 back then? I put new sleeves and pistons in my W9 years ago also but I do not recall if they were the thin wall type. I rebuilt the 9 in 1972. I appreciate the infor about the 650 sleeves fitting the W9.

Thank YOu Henery I still have both tractors

the super wd9, 600, 650 came with 4 1/2" sleeves making it 350cid. then there was a 4 5/8 overbore kit for the 650"s making them 370cid. I believe the last 650's had the 370cid from factory. as for the early w9's 335 cid , I don't believe 4 1/2" sleeves were available in the early forty's w9's time period.
they would have been available later once the super's came out. there was no super 9 gas either.

I think the 600 piston and sleeves were the increase bore for the W9. Just like the 400 piston kit was used as a increase bore for the M. I show a part number 365888r91 aluminum piston and sleeve set for 600 gas, there are also others numbers also. I want to say if you can find a old M&W catalog or even a tractor supply catalog they should used to have some but no longer know where they are.
