Gentlemen,
Is the Lift-All on a 41' H Farmall an easy to remove item? I've heard it's quite heavy and ungainly. Is it pretty straight forward as far as diagnosing for operability? I'm sure I'll need a manual for the detailed proceedures. I've asked enough for now. Thanks for any responses concerning this post.

When I took mine out, I used a combination of Jim's and Zachary's methods. I put in threaded rods and used the jack to lower and raise the Liftall. I was working by myself and had to have a method that allowed me to hold up the unit and install the bolts at the same time.

Here are a couple pictures. I made a pair of Tee handles for removing the lift-all. They work good but you will need a helper, one person on each side of the tractor. The ends will slip into the slot on the bottom of the housing.

If you have a couple of helpers you can also lower it with a floor jack after disconnecting everything. It weighs a bit over 100 pounds as I recall. Zach

I used a floor jack on mine. Coming out was a one-man job,but I was working over grass. Putting it back in, I needed my nephew to keep it lined up while I pumped the jack.

Use all thread and replace the bolts with rods and nuts up against the unit. Remove the 3 outlet ports, the inlet cap and other top side pipes if attached and Remove the control lever. Undo the nuts to lower it, and there it is on the floor. Jim
