F30 road gear

My new F30 HAN has a road gear on it. Does anyone have a picture of the "correct" coupler? Mine looks like it is custom made (very nicely done machining job), but I believe it to be "not correct".

I am leaving on a business trip, so won't be able to post pictures until this weekend, but will be able to check in during the week.

If anyone has an F30 road gear, and could post pictures of the couple, it would be gratly appreciated.

36F30' that is the one I have, and the coupler looks identical. Is it supposed to float forwards and backwards?

If you have the one Brian showed a pic of, thats correct

thats the best OD there is for the F series!!

Not much, there is supposed to be a steel disc sandwiched in between the halves and the shaft ends to limit fore and aft movement.

And just for information the Heisler is an overdrive not a road gear. It speeds up EVERYTHING behind it, all the gears and the PTO/ pulley. You now have an eight speed forward transmission, two speed reverse, and 560/1000 PTO and belt pulley. Will explode a sickle bar mower instantly :shock:
