carb kit

I see there are several carb kits available from several distributors. Big price differences. Any recommendations on who to buy from and who to avoid? This is a 43 H.

Dan, I have bought a kit for both my SM and SC from Carquest and they worked just fine. Napa should also have what you need.

Small kits have gasket and needle and seat with throttle shaft. Most times thats all you need expensive kits have more parts to replace like throttle shaft bushings ect.

And sometimes you don't even need the throttle shaft. A set of gaskets with a float valve and seat is just about all that is needed unless the carburetor in question came from a "fence row special".

Dan, you can get a kit from this site. Their parts, prices, and service are good. Delivery is very fast, I have ordered numerous items, carb, rings, regulator, etc., always been pleased.
