flat bed trailer cost

Looking for a idea what a flat bed trailer might be worth that I am looking at. Trailer is 76 inches wide by 194 inches long with a 12 inch metal side. Trailer has dual axle and is in good shape for tires, metal, wood and has electric brakes. I've heard its rated for 6000 lbs. I want to be able to draw rectangle bales of hay on it instead of in the back of my truck. Maybe draw some fire wood too. Any thoughts on price?

I would say 800-1200 in my area, if all is in useable shape without too much rust. I paid 800 for my used car hauler, but I got it cheap .

be looking at it to see if manufactored made, or home made, welds, straightness, etc.. how old tires, brakes/bearings, good/need replacing, lights good or anything needing replacing,,year titled.

Where I live it'd be worth around $1500 to $1800. A new leagal limit wide by 18' car trailer is running around $2200 and up.

Rated for 6000#? Most trailers are rated by the axle rating. From there, you need to subtract the weight of the trailer frame itself to come up with the payload capacity.

For reference, in SW Michigan, this past summer, I purchased a 9 year old 16' beaver tail flat bed tandem axle trailer with 7000# axles for $1500.

Put new brakes, fenders, wiring, sand blast & paint. Seeking one new tire. Overall, have $2200 invested. Little less than half of a new one.
