Looking at a f-12. The tin is good, engine is free and block is not cracked and has not been welded anywhere, has lugged steel on rear and front is rubber, paint is not good but tin is not very rusty and is not pitted. Everything seems to be there, but have not tried to start it yet. Would like comments on what it is worth.

Hard to say without pictures. However, 600 - 1200 would be my guess. There are some options and variations that will drive that price up. Like the Waukasha engine. single stamped front wheel. Wide front end.

What its worth depends on how much you are willing
to pay for it.
If you are going to farm with it, not much.
If you are going to sell it for scrap iron, it would
bring about $250.00
If its going to be in parades, how much money is
that going to pay you.

I paid $100.00 for a Farmall A that was stuck and parts of the engine were in a cardboard box in 1975. It also came with a 16-inch moldboard plow. It needed tires, rims, steering wheel, wiring, fenders. I soaked the pistons with ATF and drove them out with a piece of oak and a big hammer. Had the crankshaft polished and with new bearings and a sleeve kit rebuilt the engine.

I have 2 F 12's and enjoy both of them. They are easy to work
on and lots of fun if your plan is to ride the grand children
around. They aren't much as a working tractorbut filled a spot
in their day. They made a lot of them so parts are readily
available. So what it's worth is a personal decision as to why
you want it. That said one that is restored and runs great in my
area will run about 2000 one in questionable condition will go
for 1000 or less. So I would wait till you find one in great
condition because the price isn't that much different.
