H Brake Oil Seal Tool

After destroying a couple of oil seals trying to tap new ones into place with various dowel rods and steel bars, I found the perfect tool; a white 3x2 PVC DWV [drain/waste/vent] plastic bushing, measures 3 1/2" OD by 2" ID. Fits right around the splined shaft, and holds the seal right up in place as you tap it. Taps it right in. Just FYI, if you"re trying to do this job.
Seal numbers are;
Chicago Rawhide # CR-541901-USA
Case-IH CNH # 76510-C-91
NAPA SKF # 23184.

I replaced mine a few years ago and stumbled on the same thing. I screwed a piece of 2X4 to the back, so the pipe didn't break when I tapped it and cut the other end on a chop saw and sanded it smooth. Worked perfectly.
