Thats a cast wheel someone used from a farmall 400. Some of those early wheels were drilled off pattern for the weights. Saw some wheels that were redrilled with 8 bolt holes at the weight mounting area. Most I noticed like that were cast in december of 1954 and you are close. Also the wheels use a different rim than a SMTA did.
A = a tractor equiped with a distillate fuel attachment. Would originaly had a extra hole in the hood with a small starting tank with fill opening in the hole and also some other changes for the fuel. S = that the tractor came with a T/A with parts to drive a IPTO, PTO could be installed or not. SMTA tractors started at serial number 501 and ended at 83523. If you subtract 501 from 83523 that leaves the total number of SMTA tractors of all types that could be built. Due to things happening and some tractors being pulled out of production and scrapped the total is probably some less than the total from the subtraction. I sure won't claim to know the exact number built. Also 75801 was built in june 1954. Scratch off the 501 above. As pointed out 60,001 was the start.
