Since you didn't find any sludge in the pan,there
wont be any in the rest of the engine.Obviosly that
tractor has had decent maintanance.I would just put
in 10/30;15/40 and run it.And not to worry,alot of
those old tractors are running that kind of
oil.Includeing mine./

Modern view is currently messed up. Classic works ok.

Probably because each entry is a unique take on the issue, and no response is in reaction to someone else response. Seems very normal to me. Jim
