Late model F20 F30 spark rods

does the F20 and F30 use the same size spark rod for the later models? Late model defined as throttle being a separate flat rod on the side of the gas tank and the spark rod connected at the steering column and on the hood.

No, not really. the 30 rods should be longer. But
just because you take a part off a certain tractor,
how do you know it was designed for that
application. I would shorten or lengthen any rods to
suit yourself. I had a 30 here last week that the
throttle rod interfered with the gear shift lever. I
would sure change something if I were driving it
myself.

Tom, The later F30 like the one you bought would have one single rod for spark control if it has factory variable speed govener. Then would have the flat throttle rod down the side of fuel tank. I know the tractor you bought as I was a good friend to the previous owner before he past.

Thanks. The spark control rod is gone, so I need to find one or fabricate it.
