Bringing back to life tractor been sitting for several years. Finally got it to run but have to have the carborator choke 1/4 pulled for it to run. Any ideas?

That could be a few things wrong. Poor spark will cause that. You need a blue/white spark that jumps a 1/4 inch gap or more. #2 you need a good steady flow of gas out the carb drain plug for a few minutes. #3 you need a clean air cleaner with the correct amount of oil in it. #4 you need enough compression to pull the fuel into the cylinders as it should. Any one of those not being as it should be will cause that problem

Let it run for a while as well as all the other suggestions. You may have to drain the fuel bowl on the carb sevral times to get a good flow of fuel. A good cleaning will do the job, but it may just need a good flushing out. Be sure your fuel is fresh. Look for leaks in the intake manifold. A leak will make it run lean.

Manifold is new, Carb has been cleaned, sediament bowl assemble is new. Have check flow out of carborator. I have installed the carb kit and with kit replaced the seal on butterfly. Any more ideas problem still their. Sparkplug, wires, cap, points, condensor and rotor new.
