H steering wheel

What type of steering wheel would my 1948 H had
originally? It has a plastic covered one now. Also
would it have had a cast gearshift knob?

Rubberized material and no knob black color red spokes

Plastic (metal inner) tri bar steering wheel is correct, the cast iron shifter knobs were used on war time production farmalls, due to the rubber shortage for the war effort. From 46 on they returned to rubber.

I would agree, but my 46 has a cast iron one from the factory. It is a fairly early one, so I am figuring they used up the inventory before returning to the black knobs.
