Hydraulic Adapter for Koyker Loader on IH 2424

Background - I have an external hydraulic pump bracket mounted on the front of the 2424 tractor. The adapter that bolts to front power shaft (coming out of the tractor) has a 4 bolt pattern on the flat dick portion which transitions into a collar with 7/8 internal spline. The adapter slides onto the splined external shaft of the pump. Questions - 1) does anyone know where I can one of these adapters? 2) Any reason I can"t drill a hole through collar & shaft and pin it?

You can try and look it up on the CaseIH website parts listing. Otherwise I have a parts book that I may be able to find the number. I have my 2424 tore down to put a clutch in.

Thanks Randy.

Do you have a Koyker front loader on your 2424? If so, did you get a manual or do you know the model number of the loader?

I have a IH 2000 loader on mine Dan. But I would think the parts you need would be part of the IH pump assembly. I can't seem to find the 424/2424 tractor on the CaseIH parts website since they redid it. You might just want to call your local dealer or Ken at Carter & Gruenewald.

See if this link works.

Thanks for the link!

Very helpful. Talked to local dealer...$337.82 just for the adapter...might have to see a machinist about making one.

Thanks again Randy.
