Sure nothing wrong with the sacrifice. I parted a really rough 1942H 11 years ago. About 10 Hs were brought back to life. Still have some parts to sell. Air Force has been doing that for years with the Davis Monthan AFB boneyard.

M parts aren't exactly scarce around here, I am in Brown County Ohio, down here on the river and see M parts around all of the time.
