1946 Farmall A lights not working

Recently had some starting problems with my 1946 A. Replaced the battery and she starts fine now. However, the lights don't work, whereas they worked fine before the starting problems. I'm wondering if my generator is also bad or if I might be facing a polarity problem for some reason. (I might have done something to the polarity while trying to diagnose the problems) Can the generator be out of polarity or something? Any thoughts before I go out and spend the money on a new generator? Thanks in advance! Doug

Doug - Check/replace the fuse on the backside of the light switch inside the ammeter box!

A bad or incorrectly polarized generator will NOT affect the lights.

Check the bulbs...you may have had an overcharge rate from the regulator and blown them out. Been there...done that!
