I operate daily and have HF to UHF in my car. I cover a 7 state area and use ham radio to pass the time between stopping to look at and try and buy old Farmall"s. I spend most of my time on 40M and 80M. Pick a time and freq, will try and meet you. I can also stop and look at tractors for sale in the upper mid-west area. Paul [Reply]  [No Email]

Call me antisocial, but I never really enjoyed talking to random strangers on the radio. I guess what it is is that I'm not big on small talk. I'll enjoy an hour long conversation with a stranger, but really struggle with the "soo... nice weather, huh?" type stuff. Radio lends itself more to small talk. So I got out of it years ago. I've considered getting back into CW but - would have to buy back into the hobby... [Reply]  [No Email]
