How is your friend doing on the 10-20 with the bad clutch? I did check the F30 engine that I have apart and it has the 460D flywheel which is the same as the 10-20. I know the parts books show different numbers for the F30 versus the 10-20 flywheel for the single disc clutch. So maybe my F30 engine has a 10-20 flywheel? In either event I don't see why an F30 flywheel won't work on a 10-20.\

I checked with my friend with the parts 10-20 and he said the multi-disc clutch in it is pretty well shot too....

Thanks for the update, Kirk. He is still looking for parts to swap the whole works like we had talked about. Kinda got me to thinking I should check my spare flywheel and see what # it is. If it will work, all we should need would be the shaft with bearing to make the swap. BT

Would you send me an email sometime, [email protected] I am curious how in depth you went on your F30. I know it sure sounds good! Was also wondering how much work you had to do to the engine.

After I get the 10-20 rebuilt I am thinking I should do my '35 F30 next since it is already torn apart.

IHC never threw anything away. If they had an extra part that would fit another tractor, they would use it.

This would explain why your F-30 has a 10-20 flywheel and my W-30 has a 10-20 block.
