| "Local town did a bad job of keeping road open."
Considering that you got upwards of 30" of snow, I'd say you should cut those guys a little slack. Yours isn't the only road they have to keep open and frankly it's just impossible to stay ahead of that much snow.
Nothing cheeses me off like watching the local news on the morning after the big snowstorm, where they interview all the city people complaining about how their roads haven't been plowed. Then again on the 6:00PM news interviewing the same people complaining that the city plowed their driveway in... Well, which is it? |

| mkirch, I wouldn't say it if it was not true! The crews sat around all day waiting for the strome to come. They sent the guys home at 3:30 pm told them to come back when it stops snowing. To late! now. You need to plow that road every 2 hours to keep ahead of snow like that. You can wait till 30" dumps and than show up with your F-350 and think your going to open roads. I don't blame the driver, I blame the guy in charge he did not make the right call! oldiron29 |

| Lowell,Power is on never went out got about 28"-30" of snow. Took me 7 hrs to get my barn yard pushed out and vehicles moved and clean. To much to push, had to use the loader tractor. Local town did a bad job of keeping road open. This morning we are getting frezzing rain and ice. Got a path to my wood pile and staying warm. Thanks Lowell for asking. oldiron29 |
