Super A gas tank

I have a 1951 S/A that the gas tank has a leak in the bottom under the mounting bracket.I used the tank sealer that NAPA sells to seal it last year.It seemed to do just fine and doesn't leak but I went to start it the other day and it wouldn't start. When I looked at the sediment bowl I could see the sealer in the bowl, guess I didn't get the tank as clean as I thought. Is there anywhere to get new tanks for these old tractors or do I need to redo this one or look for a used tank?

I fixed one by sandblasting it clean then used fiberglass resin. The RED COTE sealer can also work if you get the tank clean first.

The absolute best thing to seal fuel tanks is a product by Flamemaster. It's name is CS3204 Sealing Compound. It's made for sealing fuel tanks on jets and will outlast the tractor.
