560 Clutch

I need to put a new clutch in my 560. I am wondering if there are diffrent clutchs that are better? I do alot of heavy pulling with my 560 and if there would be a etter clutch than others I would rather put the better one in. Thanks for the help

They make ceramic "button" clutches that tend to hold a bit better, only problem with them is they are very hard on a flywheel surface, and are very "grabby", not good for the drivetrain.
But if you know how to drive them, they will last a bit longer in heavy duty applications.

Well IF you want a good clutch then go with the 384395 HD4disc and have the flywheel reground and you can either use a stock pressure plate or you can move up to the stock pressure plate for a 706, Now your knee may not forgive you for that move . We installed a 706 plate on a S/MTA that is making real good power . Now it does not slip but you don't spend much time tryen to hold it down. And IF you have the flywheel GROUND i never found them to be grabby or jirky

Tractor Vet, if you want that SMTA clutch to work well put a 400 clutch pedal on it. I have a SMTA and 400 with heavy clutchs and the 400 you can't tell and the SMTA is terrible to work with. That inch longer pedal makes a big difference..
Also I have button clutches and regular clutches and I don't have any grabbing out of either.

When I put the 414 in mine, I used a 986 clutch. I was told it's the strongest stock 12" clutch, since the 986 used hydraulic assist. It is stiffer, but anything with stronger springs will be.
