I have never seen just a speed meter for an IH until you get into the digital tachs for the 86 series. Those have a speed selection.

Most all tachs were speed and rpm"s combined where the speed was just calibrated off the RPM"s for each gear.

You may have to go to some type of magnetic external speedo meter. Where you attach a magnet to the wheel to count revolutions of the wheel to get speed. Say a Calc U Acre or the likes.

JJc is correct!!

Due to a hydro,s ability to vary forward speed independently of engine rpm,s a calibrated tachometer is of little use!!

All English built IH Hydro's were fitted with a tachometer for engine and pto rpm,s and a speedo for ground speed.

Theses should be readily available, have you tried the Messicks parts web site ??
