200/230 fast hitch swap

Does anybody know if a fast hitch from a 200 will fit on a 230. I know the casting numbers are different.
Also what is the value on a 200 wide front, I have one I don't need and everything is included except rims and tires.

I know a Super C and a 200 are the same, and a 230 F-H is different. Some 230s had Touch Control as an option and if your 230 has a touch control, it might stand a chance of working. The tilt and pitch on a SC and 200 F-H are controlled by the Touch Control... the 230 is not.

AFAIK the mounting bosses on the rear end housing are in the same locations.

You also need the tool box under the seat with the big holes drilled through it for the 200's rockshaft.

If your 200's fast hitch doesn't have a big shaft running through the under-seat toolbox, then it has a 230 fast hitch on it already.

Here"s a photo of my 230 with a factory three point - two point would work the same. It all mounts on the rear of the tractor - no arms to the front rockshaft (this tractor has a rockshaft although many 230"s didn"t). The former owner said it used to be a bean picker. Been trying to find information on what that may have looked like.

The f/h is definitely for a 200, rockshaft through seat/toolbox. Tractor has touch control and it looks like everything would switch over. I would prefer to find an original f/h for a 230 but they did,nt make alot of them. My 230 has the f/h valve there but is capped off. doesn;t look like anything was ever mounted to the back end

Thanks for the photo. I went on the CIH website and they show both style f/h's for the 230. I'm going to assume some left over productions of the 200 version may have been used on some early 230's. They show a version moe like whats on the 300/350 tractors with the rockshaft behind the seat.
Am I all wet with my assumptions
