tires on 656 Utility tractor early 656 Utility front grill

I am working on a IH 656 Utility tractor. I would like to know what tire sizes where offered on the rear? I have 16.9x30 And would like to go to 18.4x30. Also I would like to know the original tread for thr front & size. I would like to know if anyone knows of the correct grill for the very early serial number(7519) of this tractor.

Fronts where 7-50 x 16 tri rib rears where what you have.Your rear rims would be probably 2'' narrower for the 18.4 would work I think.I put a pair of 18.4x38 on rims that had 15.5x38 worked for me.The early grill I think was ribed heavy screen later was flat screen with round bar grill insert.

I think you are right about the grill. I am looking for one. I wanted to know who would have one. I'm sorry for the confussion! I'm gald to have the front tires confirmed as tri-rib.
