Hey all,This weekedend I attached a Westendorf WL30 loader to my dad's IH 460. I used the right hand side remote hydraulic ports for the bucket tilt cylinders and the left hand side remotes for the main lift cylinders. The valve which operates the tilt cylinders works fine but the valve handle which WOULD actuate the main lift cylinders (left hand side remotes) is stuck. My gut tells me the linkage itself is not the problem but more likely the spool is stuck within the valve body. I plan to purchase a service manual for the 460 hydra-touch but any hints you might be able to offer to steer me in the right direction would be much appreciated. Also, it appears to me that neither of the remote hydraulic sets had ever been used as I had to remove some ancient, brittle plastic plugs from them and then spend several hours working to get the release collar to move back and forth freely. Thanks in advance, Noah |

| Try messing with the little valve down by your feet on the dash. Two little knobs (one for each outlet) you can put an adjustable wrench on to turn |

| Ok to turn it within the limits of the roll pin. be sure to leave it the way it was. Jim |

| Getting to the valves in the cold is tough. If inside. (-8 degrees here today) take the sheetmetal off to gain access. look to be sure the linkage is actually free (moves a little) if so remove it and put some ATF on the valve spool where it is visible. tapping on the spool with a plastic hammer while turning on the flat, where the hole is, with a small wrench can free them up. No whacking, and no major twisting. Jim |
