7120 ele problem

With the key in the on position it reads acc and hrs as it does in acc position. When the tractor starts and the key returns to the on position the tractor stops. It is not the fuel solenoid or the key switch and I have checked the grounds. Any ideas?

My best guess is that the key switch is at fault. The electronics will get a signal from both the ACC terminal and the on/run terminal. These two signals combined are interpreted by the system to display the run condition and provide fuel delivery.
When the on/run signal is missing, the ACC signal is still there, and the system goes to ACC display.
When cranking, the normal on/run signal is overwritten by the start signal. (this is just conjecture, as I do not have a schematic) Jim

Try holding down the override button and start it. If it will run then I would hazard a guess that either the key switch or something in the self shutdown getup is causing your problem. I'm not a Magnum expert so that is about all I can tell you.

Replace your cab solenoid.

In some instances you get a backfeed that energizes the ACC circuit with the key in the run position.
