I'm a Ford 'N' person mostly. Don't know much about them though, but even less about other tractors.
Been looking for something to hang a Ditch Witch Backhoe off of. Most on the 'N' board say it's best to find something a little bigger than the 'N' to use.
I was hoping to find a good runner with out 3 pt, since they tend to go for less.
I've come across this International harvester 334. It's about the right size. But will need a new engine. Guy said the block is damaged.
When I google this model I don't get any thing. How hard would it been to find an engine for it?
I've heard some International model have transmission problems. Is this one of them?
He said he would take $525 for it. Guess that is probably close to scape price. Most likely not going lower than that.
Any opinion would be appreciated on what you think of this tractor.

Never heard of that model. I wonder if maybe the seller is confused. The IH 340 is a fairly common tractor but it is hard to tell much from the picture.

Can't tell much from Pic, But many don't know what model tractor they have. All they know is make. I bought a B414 last fall that was advertised as a B1B. Maybe he thought it was a bomber. Got a real deal on it as no one else had called on it. Bought a MF 204 a few years ago same way, advertised as a 209 and no calls on it. Go Figure.

Have a close check, you maybe looking at a 384.
Which I am certain engine and parts are still available.
I have never heard of a 334. got me stumped?
 

That has to be about the worst photo I've seen anyone put in an ad.

Let see... red tractor with missing sheet metal blocked by two guys standing in front of it.

384 would have rounded fenders...that tractor does not.
 
I agree. I sent him an email this morning asking for more pictures
and information.
Saw a manual on Ebay that had a picture of a 444. Looked like that
may have the same fenders.
 
Noticed the breather cap on top of the rocker cover as fitted to the UK build BD154 diesel engine. This makes it a 444, 354, 384 etc tractor. MJ
