GEN/CUT OUT

Hi I have a 34 flathead with a gen problem. The elec shop says it is working fine, but when i get it back into the truck, no output. This 3 brush gen has two wires coming out of the gen. One goes to the cutout switch and the other is grounded. Correct?

The probability is that neither one is grounded. Jim
