Gold Demo Plow

Just thought id share some pics of my #314 Rollover gold demo plow. This critter came from Idaho from a friend of mine. I had contemplated repainting it, but since it has enough original pain on it i decided to leave it. rebuilt the tilt cylinder and put new hoses and tire on it. It doesnt have coulters so i havent had a chance to use it yet. We only plow corn ground here and dont rake stalks so coulters are a must

enjoy

I've had one for 30 years.Good plows.Plowed
hundreds(if not thousands) of acres with it.Mine has
SuperChief bottoms.Never had coulters on mine, plowed
some pretty thick cornstalks. All ya gotta do is disk
a couple times...BTW,that plow and the 706 have been
together since new(1967).I am the third owner of
both....Need help,call.Steve

The plow is the same in all th epics, but the moldboards and everything was plum wore out when i got it (bottom pic) so i got frogs and everything from a good parts plow. its got all good parts on it now. Super Chiefs too

Looks like a plow I got out of CO from DeltaRed. Mine still needs attention before it will look like that
Thanks Steve

Why disc a couple of times when all you have to do is run coulters?

By running coulters I don"t disc, saves time and fuel.

(quoted from post at 20:23:26 01/03/13) Nice plow and even better tractor. Can't wait until my 350 looks
like that.

Do you have a 350LP??? i kinda have this urge to find one so i have a 'big n little'..... :D

I have a 314, but do not have the guage wheel and its attatchment, makes it difficult to operate with an aftermarket 3 point. Anyone know where I can buy the parts I need from a wrecker? Thankyou.

where are you located?

Well there you go.

Now we know why we run coulters and you don"t.

You have to disc anyway to level the ground first and we don"t disc first, we just run coulters.

The question has been answered as to why we do what we do and you do what you do.
