Pete, If you decide to order an aftermarket radiator, be prepared to send it back a couple of times because the hole for the steering shaft doesn't line up. I have had this problem twice and it doesn't seem to matter who I order from. Steiner is very reputable and understands the problem. They will work with you on returns. Good Luck. Ellis

I have one I would love to have re-cored too. Last price I got was over $600 though. I gave $150 for a serviceable used one but it's rough looking. Don't leak though.

I had one recored for my A lst year. Recoring is a bit more expensive but you end up with a made in the USA radiator that fits your tractor. Way too many problems with the new ones fitting correctly and I've hard they don't last that long.

Think I have a good original used one left if interested. I could pressure check it if I didn't already. In WV.
Looked, sorry it was a 400 or 450 one srtting on the shelf.

I took my 450 radiator to the local shop to be checked out. They told me it was beyond repair. After checking a couple other options, I decided to let them order a US made radiator. It was around $450 a couple years ago. I didn"t have any fit issues. A good shop should know where to get a new radiator and stand behind it.

Agreeing with ALL that has been said below.(pretty much)

EVERYTHING I have heard on here and RPM is about the same. A new "off shore" radiator probably WILL NOT fit in with out die grinders, hack saws,"cussing",shipping some back, ect.

I would personally get mine re cored. The trick is finding some one near you who can do it???? If you have it re cored and have to ship it out of state, you might have to take out a personal loan to finance it????
