Farmall C (pics)

Couple of pictures of 3 Farmall C's & Super C that my Dad and I restord. We use the planter to plant sweet corn every year. It has double disk openers on it and also has the check wire spool mounted on the back that is chain driven off the left side brake shaft to roll up the wire. I think it still has original tires and cushion seat. The other C has a two row cultivator and a set of spike toothed shovels behind the rear tires which I assume is to take out the wheel tracks. The super C now has a woods mower on it. The other C has a two bottom plow and longer rear axels compared to the other C's we have. Also have a axel mount sickel bar mower. We restored these a couple years ago but use them all through out the year.

Very nice restorations!

Like the plow, it is really neat. Have one rusty plow share(?) like it in our garden by my husband's shop.

Realy nice and you didnt have to change them to an ugly Alt as they just dont look rite and you didnt have all the problems.

Those tractors look very nice....It appears that you did a very good job on them. I especially like the C with the old Firestone closed center/bent bar rear tires and original tread pattern Firestone front tires. I remember when those tractors were being sold by our local dealers...a cousin bought a new C and a little later a great uncle bought a new Super C, they were fine tractors in their day. Not to be critical, but for the sake of authenticity the generator and lights were red on the tractors as they came from the factory....Whatever, the tractors look great.

They look very nice and especially with attachments.
I am currently working on a couple C's myself. Hope to paint in the spring when it warms up
good job

Nice restores!
I have a Super C with a similar plow, but mine is a fast hitch.
Mine dosen't look as good as yours though.
The previous owner used spray paint that looks like burnt red to
"restore" it. Maybe in another year or two, I can take away
its shame.
Thanks for sharing.

They look very sharp, how did you get the paint scheme for the C's Cultivators? I'm just breaking down my Super C for a repaint this winter, and I want to get the cultivators right. I got some old ads on ebay, looks like what you have there! Are the cuffs and the shanks a darker blue or a black? I see the Farmall blue paint code is available, but I'm assuming that's the lighter color. Did you try to match up the 1102b red paint? My old girl got a house paint job probably before I was born.
